I know this topic is widely discussed, but advice is appreciated.

We have a hospital plan in SA, which has worked for us as we are not a sickly family. My research shows that for my wife and I we would get a general cover for about $270, each of our children would add $50 each to this figure, based on a $5000 co pay per visit to hospital. Any comments about different plans or insurance companies in North or South Carolina area. Are there other options out there for us.

I stombled upon the following, perhaps it can help save costs in the beginning, if it works, let me know, as we are only due to come over the end of the year. http://www.immigrati...h.com/plans.htm

I think the solution to this one is to have an employer that has a medical benefit that is part of the package.
