Hi

I accidently made a small mistake on my original dv lottery entry form. In the question "Education level", I put down "High school, no degree", which I only now found out means that I did not finish high school. I did in fact finish high school and got my matric certificate. I learnt that I should have put down "High school diploma". Darned confusing terminology.

I am a dvselectee qualifying on that fact that I actually do have a high school diploma and I do qualify on work experience in the right job category and level (Accounting).

Anyways, I am now wondering what this means for my application? I was thinking of correcting this mistake by putting down "High School Diploma", which is correct, on the forms I have to send back to the KCC. Any ideas / thoughts?

Ok, to answer my own question: I just spoke to a gentleman at the KCC and he stated that it is NOT in any ways a problem. I should put the correct information of the forms that I submit back to the KCC and that is how it will be captured and processed.

You will soon learn that we speak a different version of English in the USA! :D

Filling out all the forms in such detail, can really make you nervous.
Everyone has made similar mistakes and sometimes they are made because we 'over-think' the question.
