    NEW ENTRY REQUIRED FOR DV2019

So I've been on here almost every day ever since I discovered the forum. With the days rolling by and today being exactly 51 days 6 hours till those of us who entered can find out if we've been selected, gosh the excitement is mounting and I'm going through every topic covered on here. I feel the need to prepare myself so that I'm not running around if I get selected. My fellow DV 2019 entrants lets keep each other in the loop and share how we are feeling. Not forgetting the ever caring big "brothers and sisters" who've gone through this before. All the best guys...

    NEW ENTRY REQUIRED FOR DV2019

Kengux,Shamus,Bush Baby,OP1985,Woekes and all my fellow South Africans who have entered I'm thinking about you all. Hope you guys get this and move over so that we can also struggle a bit as we try our luck at a better life for our families. I honestly can't wait for the day I can safely say I'm leaving SA. Our country is in such a sorry state it hurts. Safety or lack of,better opportunities for my kids, corruption are some of the few reasons that motivate me to want to leave mzansi. As a government employee I fear that i will oneday be without my pension fund after its used up to bailout SAA. The grass may not be as greener on the other side as I think but I bet my last R5 that its not as brown as it is on this side. Good luck to us all (though I haven't submitted entry yet). May is just around the corner.

    NEW ENTRY REQUIRED FOR DV2019

Will definitely take your advice. Should we not get selected it will be giving us even more time to prepare. However getting it first time lucky just like Mua did would be a dream come true...lol. Ok noted... thx once again guys. Your guidance and assistance is truly appreciated, please stay and be with us newbies till the end when we are also able to tell of our success stories. Also, are the any Saffers selected in DV2018. If there are. Let's hear how guys are holding up.

    NEW ENTRY REQUIRED FOR DV2019

I would also like to ask that since me and my husband are only going to sign at home affairs on 9 November,is it possible : 1. that I apply with the kids and then add him on at a later stage after the ceremony? 2. Or would you advise to put my application on hold until we are officially married,on the 9th November ,then enter as husband, wife and kids?

    NEW ENTRY REQUIRED FOR DV2019

Thank you SJ262 for the info. I've been reading a lot of the posts on here just to get a feel of this journey. But should I have any more clarity seeking questions I hope the house will be able to assist.

    NEW ENTRY REQUIRED FOR DV2019

Hello House So happy to finally be on this very informative forum. I will be entering for the first time this year and as much as its a lottery with the chances of not being selected,I'm still very excited. But before I go crazy on all of you I just want to ask some questions which I think will make you all laugh though I'm finding very hard to understand. 1. Does entering immediately the site opens better one's chances to get selected? 2. I've read quite often people talking about low/high numbers which influence interviews. Which numbers are those? 3. Can I submit photos taken with a phone as long as they meet the requirements? If not, where can i find a reputable service provider around eastgate, balfour park or greenstone shopping centre in Johannesburg? I think that's all for now. Thank you.
