RAAI-RAAI 1

 

Op SACanada het ons 'n ruk terug 'n "fun" tema begin. Fotos word geplaas deur ons lede van interessante plekke wat hulle afgeneem het. Die res van die lede kan dan deelneem aan die raaiproses om te probeer uitvind waar die foto geneem is. In die gees van dié lekker gewoonte wil ek kyk of ons nie hier by SAUSA ook so iets kan begin nie.

 

PS. All photographs have to be taken somewhere in the USA!

Hierdie standbeelde ...

  • is redelik noord in die land, waarskynlik bietjie "off the beaten track",

  • is aangrensend tot 'n bekende nasionale park,

  • gedenk 'n bekende "native american" nasie.

Ah! at least we have someone who TRIED! No poppelooi, think even FURTHER north! Remember I live in Canada, and we haven't ventured that far down into the US yet :)

well, maybe it is because right at the beginning of the thread Hendie stated the "rules" that the place is/must be in the USA - unless there is a Pretoria and Saskatchewan in the US - in that case it is a senior moment for me :blink::lol:

Oh dear, I suppose I should have answered this morning when I saw skattie's correct answer. That may have prevented this goose chase :blink: Yes, it is in Montana, just inside the Blackfeet Indian Reservation outside the little town of East Glacier Park, and next to the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.
